AAIF's Workflows & Process Integration group accepts individual contributors and explicitly covers long-running agents, pause/resume, retries, idempotency, and recovery. Join its mailing list and request WG access; corporate membership and formal voting rights are separate.

The Workflows & Process Integration charter explicitly covers interrupted workflows, state persistence, retries, idempotency, external-system coordination, and portability across runtimes. This makes it a direct place to discuss dependable ongoing agent execution.

Participation is open to individuals and organizations. The joining steps are to join the mailing list, complete CLA/DCO requirements if applicable, and request a working-group invitation. Formal voting rights are separate; the charter reserves some votes to Platinum and Gold members.

Start from the official repository, which links the public mailing list, Discord, meeting access, and notes. A Linux Foundation account provides access to the LFX meeting dashboard and recordings. Check the public calendar for current calls.

A proposed first contribution: document one interrupted-agent scenario, the evidence needed to know whether its external action happened, and the recovery behavior required across runtimes. Discuss the scope before building a large implementation.
