What a Dell AI Factory customer actually buys

Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA is an integrated portfolio, not a single server model or one mandatory software bundle. Selected solutions combine computing, storage, networking and AI software. The portfolio spans workstations and data centers.

Dell's modular architecture has a concrete deployment layer: Dell Automation Platform provides a catalog and management of validated application blueprints. Customers can deploy selected knowledge-assistant, coding-assistant or agentic platforms rather than assemble every component themselves. This is application deployment and management, not evidence of a universal adapter for the Operator's event sources and existing agent sessions.

Dell also offers implementation, data preparation, security and ongoing operational assistance. Managed operations and knowledge-transfer services are offerings to select, not proof that every hardware purchase includes them.

Practical interpretation: compare a bill of materials, software entitlements, deployment scope and support responsibilities. A useful acceptance test would verify the intended workload, recovery and access controls on the proposed configuration. We have not requested a quotation or tested a Dell deployment.
